I have photographed countless weddings at Kew Gardens but each of them has been special and different.

Jessica and Christopher decided to tie the know during an intimate wedding at Cambridge Cottage in Kew Botanical Gardens. On a beautiful sunny day with gorgeous, colourful flower arrangements their guest witnessed them saying I DO.

However, before the magical words were said I met with the couple in their hired AirBnb in Richmond.

There was a lots going on there. First the Chuangmen – a game or a challenge where the  groom had to prove to the sister and the bridesmaids that he is worthy of her hand.  After it was time for  testing the groom’s knowledge of the bride. There was also a little bit singing involved. I applaud the groomsmen for helping him out with the task and singing along. After handing in envelopes with money to the bridesmaids , groom was allowed to escort the bride out of the room and proceed for the Civil Ceremony.

For that part of the day my beautiful bride Jessica, wore a traditional Chinese wedding dress. For the rest of the wedding celebrations Jessica wore a fitted white dress with a super long train. As much as the train was a challenge on a windy day during the first look. It helped to create some stunning photos for the Best Chinese Wedding Photographer London . The first look too place at Kew’s grand Temperate House.

Civil Wedding was followed by bubble exit. There was a string quartet, Cheese wedding cake instead of the regular sweet one. And incredibly funny and thoughtful wedding favours. Beautiful Chinese fabric pouches with post party help kit including plasters, ibuprofen, hydrating powder, chewing gum etc.

It was another beautiful day at work for me as the Best Chinese Wedding Photographer London.
