This fantastic selection of photos comes from a Muslim wedding of Sanaa and Umair . The wedding took place in the winter of 2020 right before the lockdown and ban on weddings. It was an Islamic Marriage and Walima Reception at Northbrook Park in Surrey. The wedding was perfect, starting with the bridal outfit and red duppata covering her head as a part of an Muslim wedding tradition and gorgeous floral decoration ornamenting the mantelpiece during the Islamic Ceremony and candle lit tables of the reception. The flower arrangements were the work of Rabbit and the Rose. I absolutely loved the organic table decor ie dry oranges and wooden name tags. I am a big fan of and eco friendly approach to the weddings.

Being a Nikkah Muslim Wedding Photographer London and having the opportunity of photographing Islamic weddings over the years, it does not happen often to have a dancing at an evening reception . But Sanaa and Uamir and their family and friends had a wonderful time dancing to some Asian tunes and not only.

My fav part was the Sparklers exit that dues to the Health and Safety had not exactly went as intended but still resulted in some amazing photos. I previously had tried my luck with sparkler photos at another Muslim wedding at Mickelfield Hall – Click here for link.
