Agata & Paulo DIY Wedding Little Venice London
This wonderful DIY Wedding Little Venice London took place in early July. Agata, the future bride, only contacted me beginning of May, while I was on holidays in Bali btw. The time difference made it difficult for us to arrange a conversation but we managed to chat finally. Agata told me that Paulo proposed only couple of months ago but they went to straight into planning the Big Day and picked 1 st of July as their date. It was meant to be a pretty small wedding with only the closest friends and family and loads of DIY touches. I got quite excited as Agata sounded lovely and so did the wedding. For their venue they chose a private room on top of the Warrington Hotel and Pub in Maida Vale. The Christian religious part took place in Kensal Rise Catholic Church of Transfiguration. The ceremony held by one of the loveliest and friendliest priest I ever had a pleasure to work with.
Paulo and Agata proposed the canals of nearby Little Venice for the couple photo shoot. I couldn’t dream for better location. So lively and colorful. And with friendly residents who even invited us to take photos on their barges. That I totally forgot are actually people houses. Ups :)))
I was so astonished after reaching the wedding reception venue how much effort was put into decorating it. All the vintage touches. Linen and laces. Candles, flowers, name tags. Beautiful and personal. And let me add one more thing.
If I was to announce the best wedding cake of this year. Than the Polish cake from this wedding would definitely be a winner. Soft sponge and fluffy cream with fresh strawberries. Winner for sure.
I truly enjoyed this wedding. I am super glad that at the end Agata and Paulo decided to chose me. I can only hope they are also glad to have chosen me. Congratulations once again – Agata and Paulo.
