Indian Wedding Photography London

After posting two blog post with photos of Annika & Anand, one from ther super relaxed Indian London Engagement Photo shoot (click here for a link) and the other from a very intimate Mayfair Library Civil Wedding (click here to view), the time has come to pot photos from their Indian Wedding Photography London at Raddison Blue Edwardian in Heathrow.

From the beginning I knew this Indian Wedding in London will be different in a way. Annika & Anand are two super happy people giggling constantly. They seem very genuine and modest. And from that I figured out that while the wedding will be beautiful and full of wonderful details (that includes this absolutely wonderful naked cake, that I have never previously seen at an Indian Wedding) it all will be done with a good taste and modesty. As a couple wishing to celebrate their Wedding Day but not wishing to draw to much attention to themselves they resigned from having a grand entrance and a first dance. But for sure they proved they have the moves on the dance floor at the evening Indian Wedding Reception. Other unusual thing was the band they booked instead of the DJ. Band called Vivid played some wonderful classical tunes including Amy Winehouse, my favorite.

Annika & Anand Hindu Religious ceremony took part under the very flowery mandap organized by Avari Events and was conducted by a super happy and friendly wedding priest Hemang Bhatt

Big Kudos from me to both Ladies looking after Annika hair and make up. She looked beautiful for both parts of her big day, Hindu Religious Ceremony and Indian Evening Wedding Reception, but I am still blow away by the evening glam, retro look of Annika. I am not Saying that Anand didn’t look the part as he for sure looked super handsome and elegant in his black tie. Annika Black and Gold evening sari was perfectly complemented by a gentle golden make up done by Shalika and glam waves done by Julie Shah.

My favorite part as of every wedding was the speeches, which as you can see from the photos below were hilarious, and dance floor shots. So much going on, so many happy moments  and cracy moves cough on my camera.

And some bonus photos of people we dont know who they are but we believer were Wedding Crushers from another Indian wedding taking place in Raddison Blue Edwardian in Heathrow. They managed to get quite a few photos. Quite nice ones. Even left a photo booth shot in a guest book saying “Please dont hate us”. You got to love them. They seem fun.
