Pre wedding Photography Chiswick House
With most of the weddings cancelled this year, engagements sessions are all what is left to photograph. But to be honest they are the nice bit of a wedding photographer’s job. The creative part. Searching for the background, for the light. Posing the couple, overlooking the details and most importantly having fun while doing all this.
When discussing possible locations for her Pre wedding Photography, Akshitha was very fixed on Chiswick House and Gardens. She wanted a mix of nature and architecture andĀ I think Chiswick house is just that. The Chiswick House is an 18 th Century Villa located in South West London and surrounded by 26.33 hectares of gardens including a lake. The villa had a quite a history , it served previously as an Asylum and a Fire Station. Apart from the main house we used for the shoot the Inigo Jones Getaway and the Classical Bridge over the canal. We also took some photos under the very famous and iconic Cedars of Lebanon.
I love the fact that Akshitha chose a Saree for her Pre wedding Photography Chiswick House. To me this added the extra elegance and style to this shoot, so did her pearl earings. I also loved her DIY make up. It was totally spotless.
There are two people that need a mention and a big thanks. One is obviously Akshitha’s Fiance Ashwin. He was so patient for the whole duration of this engagement pre wedding photo shoot and co operated so well , and if I remember correctly it took us almost 3 h . Second person being Akshitha’s mom. Big thanks for looking after us, our belongings and being the good spirit of the day.
As you will see from some of the photos, half way through the shoot it started to rain. Two years ago, also in August , I had a pleasure of visiting the Chiswick House for the first time and photographing a Hindu Wedding at this splendid location. And guess what ?? It was also raining . As both days were a success I believe that the rain was a sign of a Good Luck. Click here to view this beautifulĀ but rainy Indian Wedding at Chiswick House.
I cant wait for Akshithas and Ashwins wedding next year at a fantastic Syon Park. I also can’t wait to for for the first time with a luxury wedding planner Rohita Pabla. Bring on 2021 :)
