Sikh Civil Wedding Brooksby Hall
What more can wedding photographer ask for if he gets to photograph a stunning and loved up couple and a beautiful surroundings ? Nothing !! Absolutely nothing ! I felt so privileged to be chosen to photograph Civil Ceremony of Aman & Sandip in a wonderful Brooksby Hall in Leicester, which was followed by Sikh Engagement Ceremony called Chunni in a local restaurant.
Hall grounds give us a perfect backdrop for endless family/ formal shots – yes they are always endless during asian weddings. They also allowed us to take , in my humble opinion :)) lovely shots of Aman and Sandip. We couldn’t get enough. And than we moved on to the afternoon venue where a traditional cake cutting and also endless cake feeding of family members took place. We all know how big asian families can be :)) Chunni Ceremony which is an official engagement in Punjabi region, was full of blessing and gifts to the couple, the main ones being the red scarf – chunni and bracelets, given to both fiancés. And than the crazy dancing started. Cos we know, no ones party like Sikh people party.
These are stunning! Having been to a few Indian wdideng when I lived in India, I am blown away by how much you captured the richness of the colours, textures, culture and vibrance. Well done but then no surprises there ;o)
