Kavita & Suraj – Bhaktivedanta Manor Indian Wedding Photography
I have been to Bhaktivedanta Manor couple of times before but I am always very happy when the opportunity to go there arises again. I was honestly, for months looking forward to this wedding. Not only cos they serve the best vegetarian food I have ever tasted, but because Bhaktivedenta Manor has a vibe, that i particularly find attracted to. Maybe cos I am fascinated by everything Indian :))) Bhaktivedenta Manor is a Hare Krishna temple in Watford. Build in a Tudor style and donated by late George Harrison from the Beatles, has been serving as a House of lord Krishna since 1973. The venue is surrounded by vast greenery, gardens and includes a collage, school, farm and many other buildings. It provides a perfect backdrop for weddings and plenty of beautiful spots for for couple photos.
Kavita and Suraj’s Indian Wedding, unlike the previous ones I had a pleasure to photograph there, took place in a marquee rather than in a main building. The day started with a Puja ceremony and continued with a civil ceremony in a theater room. Before heading to the Marquee for a traditional Hindu celebrations we had off for some couple shots. Nothing more easier than to photograph to people genuinely in love with each other :))) I already had a pleasure to photograph Kavita & Suraj before. One beautiful Sunday afternoon we head off to Virginia Waters for an engagement photo session. You can view the session by clicking on the links below:

I have to say. Photographing a Hindu Wedding is not easy. So much going on, so many rituals. Washing grooms feet, exchange of garlands, the seven steps and the most important fire rituals. But that what makes it beautiful, the business, the diversity, the reactions and emotions that follow. South Asian, Indian, Hindu Wedding Photography is fun :))
I need to mention that I was blown away by Kavita’s flowers. Her bridal bouquet was done by a family friend. What a bold and adventurous combination of colors. Red, purple, green and light pink. This one definitely stood out, simply beautiful.
And of course I need to mention my fantastic, lovely and super talented second shooter Bea from Photography by Bea. Thank you so much for you help and hard work !
As expected Kavita & Suraj’s Indian Wedding at Bhaktivedenta Manor was wonderful. Full of happiness, joy, love and tears – as expected form an Hindu Wedding.
