Fulham Library London Wedding Photography
Who would have thought that the prospect of working on New Year’s Eve would make me this happy ? Ha ha. When Jennifer sent me an email about her wedding on New Year’s Eve, I was ecstatic. I thought that I was saved and I didn’t have to think any longer about my party plans for this day, approaching with big steps. The only confusion was with regards to the year. Could this wedding really be this last minute? Is it possible that the inquiry is for the New Year’s Eve? Hmm, it turned out it wasn’t. Nevertheless, I was happy. I won’t have to plan anything for next year. I can tell anyone who asks me about my plans for New Year’s Eve that I am working. What a relief. Ha ha.
I am very impatient but the year went by super fast and the day has come. I was looking forward to this Fulham Library London Wedding Photography of Jennifer and Kevin as this one was meant to be a little different and informal. With the civil ceremony held in Fulham Library in London – It was actually one of the first weddings held there and a reception was in the Clapham’s Podwerkeg Pub with Scottish Ceilidh Band. I knew this one would be special and so it was :)
After the very beautiful and emotional Fulham Library London Wedding Photography, check the photos below if you don’t believe me ;-) we proceeded to the Pub on the iconic Red Routemaster Buses.
Having been already at one Scottish Wedding, and that was actually a wedding held in Scotland ( click here to see Cockdurno Farm Wedding Photography Edinburgh Scotland ) I was, with anticipation, awaiting the Ceilidh Dancing. I have to say that this is the most confusing thing ever. And I have to say I saw Scottish people looking confused and not having a clue of what was going on, so imagine Scottish Dancing in London. Priceless. I think everyone gave it a go and I think everyone who did had so much fun. I enjoyed photographing this bit of the wedding but I had to keep my elbows as close to my body as possible. The tiny dance floor was crowded. Big Kudos to the fantastic guys from the band – www.kilter.co.uk
If I had to describe this wedding in one sentence or two words it would be ” Confetti Overload”. First confetti set took place inside during the couple’s departure at the Fulham Library. Second one, of course at Midnight. I have never seen anything like this. I could hardly see the couple and the guests through the density of it. Till this day I am finding confetti bits inside of my gear and my bag.
Jennifer and Kevin not only looked super beautiful and handsome, with Jennifer wearing one of my favourite wedding gowns this year, but they also looked super happy. It is so wonderful to be able to work with such expressive couples. Happy and relaxed couples.
And I would also like to mention Sian from Busy Brides wedding planning. It was so lovely to work with her. Such a friendly and lovely person. I hope our professional paths will cross again.
